Project: Big Box Portslade

Two bespoke self storage extensions to Big Box Storage’s existing premise in Portslade.

The scheme created an additional 680m2 of floor space.

Following the successful completion of the Big Box Storage extension in Maidstone, we were commissioned by the same client to complete a second extension to their facility in Brighton. This was a challenging scheme as the new steel portal frame and composite cladding was constructed within an extremely confined working space and under live operating conditions, allowing the site to operate seven days a week.
 
Throughout the project, Cole Construct acted as the CDM coordinator, managing the health and safety aspects of the project which included working in close proximity to the public on a very active site.
