We have recently been granted planning permission for a new industrial building on Plot B, the last undeveloped site on the J2 site off Crowbridge Road, Orbital Park, Ashford.
The proposed development is a design and build scheme for Supercups 2009 Pension Trust, to construct a bespoke industrial building providing 4500 sq ft of warehouse / workshop space and 3000 sq ft of ancillary office space over two floors providing Supercups Vending with a new prestigious office and storage facility.

Unit 1 takes shape

The steel frame and cladding for Unit 1 at the Glenmore Centre Edison Road have been constructed in record time.
Despite the terrible weather we have been having we are maintaining the programme.
The concrete footings for Units 2 - 12 have been cast and our skilled site team are progressing quickly with the erection of the steel frame.

Enduro Africa

Our group MD Graeme Allison (pictured far right below) has just returned from South Africa where he participated in the 2009 Enduro Africa charity event. Along with 79 other motorcycle riders they travelled from Port Elizabeth to Port Edward in 8 days and covered over 1000 miles of dusty and demanding terrain. The outcome was to raise a net £280,000.00 for four amazing causes: UNICEF, Sentebale - The Princes Fund for Lesotho, The Nelson Mandela Childrens Fund and Touch Africa. A big thank you goes to all who attended our charity golf day back in April of this year and especially to 02 who were the main sponsors of the day.

Company rebranding

Cole Civils and Construction Ltd have grown steadily over the last year and have developed the business into a forward thinking, progressive and innovative company. To compliment this we felt that it was an ideal time to change our company image to reflect our more up to date approach.

As such we have undertaken a rebranding exercise and now present our new name as Cole Construct.

Karting at Buckmore Park

A fun evening was had by all at the ‘Cole Sprint' at Buckmore Park.

Cole Civils & Construction organised an evening of karting to mark the completion of a successful project for Big Box Storage Centres Ltd.

It was a great opportunity for the client, design team and subcontractors to socialise away from the work environment.

Steve Kelly took the overall win, followed very closely by Graeme Allison who recorded the fastest lap of the evening. Overall it was a close competition with the top three teams separated by only 3 points.
