The Glenmore Centre, Waterwells Business Park
Cole Construct has been appointed by Glenmore Investments Ltd as the Design and Build contractor for Phase 1 of The Glenmore Centre at Waterwells Business Park in Gloucester.
The Glenmore Centre is a new development of 37 light industrial / warehouse units designed by Angus Meek Architects. Phase 1 is for the construction of 12 units providing 1269m2 of industrial, storage and office space.
The units are steel portal frame construction with profile metal cladding and part brick and blockwork walls. Each unit is provided with a first floor storage area, suitable for upgrading to office space.
One of the more challenging aspects of the scheme is the below ground conditions. The site is a former landfill, but with our expert engineering consultant one of the foremost experts in ground improvement methods in this country, we have been able come up with an innovative solution.
The project is due for completion in June 2010.
